Series Overview

Millionaire Matchmaker is an American reality television series on the Bravo TV network. Millionaire Matchmaker premiered on January 22, 2008. Patti Stanger, the owner of the Beverly Hills-based “Millionaire’s Club” dating service, is the consistently belligerent host of the show. Patti works to match wealthy individuals to potential love interests. In 2016, the show moved to WE TV.

Cast Overview

Following is a list of the primary cast members for the show.

Patti Stanger—As one of the producers, the host of the show, and the owner of the Millionaire’s Club dating service, Patti delivers tough love to her clients to help them “get out of their own way.” Despite being successful entrepreneurs, inventors, and athletes, she feels that all of her clients are idiots, and she treats them as such. In many cases, her clients do find a connection despite her constant badgering and belittling.

It is almost always difficult to watch how Patti berates and belittles the people she is supposedly trying to help. She is one of the most abrasive personalities on TV. We won’t miss this show’s absence from the Bravo TV lineup.

Facts and Trivia

Following is a list of little-known facts and trivia about the show and its cast members.

  • Seven of the eight seasons of The Millionaire Matchmaker were filmed in Beverly Hills, California, and season four was filmed in New York City.
  • Patti’s Millionaire’s Matchmaker’s Club (the actual business, not the show) boasts a 99% success rate.
  • As of June 2018, Patti charges $750 for a half-hour phone consultation. Do you want an in-person lunch meeting? It will cost you $10,000, and you’ll probably pay for lunch, too.
  • If you want to join the club, packages run from $45,000 annually to more than $100,000 annually. However, with those prices, Patti won’t be your matchmaker. If you want to work with Patti directly, tack on an additional $35,000. But make sure you wear your big-boy britches.
